The 2008 programme for the society has got off to a good start and we would like to take this opportunity to thank all members for their continued support for the society over the last year, without you the society could not function. We look forward to hopefully having another successful year with all members gaining something from the society that they can take away to further develop the photographic skills.

Over the past few years Barnsley Photographic Society has had sponsers and last year was no exception.

'Harrison Photographic' sponsered the 'Portrait Cup For Projected Image' and we would like to take this opportunity to thank them for this it was very much appreciated. This years programme will once again include some in house camera training where members are invited to bring along their cameras to enjoy snapping away taking photographs of different subjects. Members are also invited to ask questions or give tips to other members to further their photographic development.

We will also be continuing to offer some in house training in digital imaging where advice will be given and questions answered on how to improve our digital imaging techniques and practices. These training sessions will contain information for beginners and experienced alike.

We offer a warm welcome and four free sessions to all new members so that they can get the feel of the society before committing to paying the membership fees.
